Joy and
Raising Vibrations
Most of us would like to feel better
than we do, irrespective of how good we might already feel. We want to
connect more fully to our joy, and we want to know that what we’re doing
spiritually and energetically is effective and working to our greatest
benefit.
We feel better when we raise our
vibration. We expand energetically and open our hearts, becoming more
joyful. And the most spiritual thing anyone can do is to feel more joyful.
An easy way to feel consistently better
is to “connect in”, clearing your energy fields by attuning more fully to
your life stream, which raises your vibration automatically.
First you need to get grounded. Imagine
yourself as a tree. Your spirituality, your connection to your higher
aspects, or Expanded Self, makes up the canopy; your body is the trunk,
and your connection to the earth is the root system. Like a tree, without
a strong, wide, deep root system, the canopy cannot thrive. In order to be
vital, joyful and spiritually connected here on the planet, we need to get
grounded - to get fully into our bodies. See yourself connected firmly and
deeply into the earth through your earth chakra, [15cm below your feet] by
a huge root system. Light that chakra up! Call your whole being into
willingness, and call for your full presence to come into your body.
Many spiritually aware people feel they
really don’t want to come fully into the body: they resist the physical
and feel ‘above it’, and they do literally hold their energy above their
body. Whereas in fact, the more “in” we get, the more of our spirituality
we access, and the better we feel!
Being ungrounded and energetically
'disconnected' is actually an effective way to attract energies and
entities. And that really makes us feel bad! It lowers your vibration by
increasing your resistance, and can make you sick. Conversely, raising
your vibration is a great way to help to clear them. [Although if you
suspect that you do have some stubborn or malicious visitors, I advise
getting expert help to clear them – it will make a huge difference to the
way you feel, it will make it much easier to raise your vibration faster].
As well as a grounding chakra, you also
have an energetic “tap root”. It is your centre column. It comes directly
from Source, straight down through the top of your head, through the
centre of your body, out between your legs, and it goes deep down into the
core of the planet, connecting you to All There Is. This is your life
stream, your energetic stream of wellbeing.
To ‘connect in”, sit up straight, or
stand up. With your inner awareness find this column of light. Follow it
right down and connect it strongly and deeply into the core of Earth, then
draw light energy up through the core, up the column, into your body. Fill
your heart, etheric body [physical energy body double] and aura with the
light. Pay attention and feel it as you do this!
Now travel way up the column, through
the top of your head, and draw Source energy down, filling your body in
the same way. Now feel the two energies come together in your heart, and
breathe them out into your etheric body. Keep breathing the light from
above & the light from below into your heart, and out into your etheric
body. [You can draw energy in from both directions at once now].
Strengthening your connection is also very healing, on all levels.
‘Connect In’ for at least for a few
minutes daily… in the shower is best, or use your “waiting time” … the
more you do it the clearer you will become. Once you’re used to it, you
just need to will it and you’re there! Make it a habit. Do it any time you
feel stressed, disconnected, resistant, fearful, etc. Get used to staying
connected in all conditions, not just when you’re in your comfort zone.
Another very quick method, and perhaps
even the best of all, is to actively and constantly look for things in
your life and surroundings to appreciate. Any little thing will do, no
matter how mundane it seems, as long as you do it. The more you find to
appreciate, the more good things will come around you, and the more you’ll
have to feel appreciative of. Cultivate an Attitude of Gratitude! And if
you’re already feeling great, appreciation will take you further, higher,
faster.
Set your intent to feel increasingly
better every day, no matter where you’re at now. And every couple of weeks
tune in to your Expanded Self, and make the command “Raise my vibration”.
And lastly, look up! That’s where
you’ll find all the good things around you to give your attention to, and
it’s neurologically impossible to feel bad when you’re looking skywards.
