ElectroMagnetic
Radiation and Geopathic Stress
Electromagnetic Radiation affects our health, wellbeing and energy
levels. Emanating from high appliances like shavers, hairdryers, mobile
phones, computers, whitegoods, photocopiers, microwaves, vacuum cleaners
have powerful electromagnetic fields. Electric blankets affect us
because we spend a lot of time on them. The more time you spend using an
appliance or in a powerful field the more you will be effected.
In Brief
·
All appliances generate both electric fields and magnetic
fields.
·
They are measured in Hz [hertz - electric] and millliguass
[mG - magnetic]
·
The human nervous system is affected at 10 - 20 Hz and 3 -
5mG
·
60 Hz or 12mG is considered dangerous
·
Domestic Electric current runs at 50 or 60Hz, depending on
where you live. This field is active all the time in your house, but is
reduced in effect by the walls.
·
The higher the wattage of your appliance [the more powerful
it is] and the closer you are to it when it's turned on, the more you
or will be affected by it's electromagnetic field
·
The more time you spend in a high field, eg working with
computers, photocopiers or on mobile phones the greater your exposure.
·
As we move in and out of EMFs [electromagnetic fields] our
personal electromagnetic fields are affected by field we are in
·
Some people seem to "accumulate" EMR in their personal
energy fields, becoming more and more affected over time. It's as if
their bodies can't recover or "bounce back to normal" after exposure.
The ability to "normalise" seems to be effected by constant exposure to
a high fields.
·
EMR's block the body's ability to produce melatonin. Low
melatonin levels have been linked to many conditions including reactive
stress, inability to sleep and breast cancer*
·
It is impossible in modern times to be out of an
artificially raised field
·
The fields in cities are intensified by the proliferation
of appliances and EMR from television, radio, wireless & mobile phone
signals.

Contrary to popular opinion, accumulated electromagnetic
stress can easily be removed from a person's energy field and there are
now various effective ways to do this. Devices that claim to maintain a
persons field in energetic integrity, no matter what the outside world
delivers electromagnetically, are common and vary in their
effectiveness.
Oora Energy Opals completely mitigate EMR effects
as well as actively promoting wellbeing through alignment of
the emotional fields with the heart chakra, and stimulating the
meridians!
This is the most impressive technology I have come across
to date, which is why I've chosen to use promote them! They are both
practical, attractive and have the unique potential [in my experience so
far] to tap into Elemental consciousness.
Geopathic Stress
is the term given to naturally caused
electromagnetic fields: like underground streams, fault lines, songlines
[ley lines]. They are not good to live on, but create powerful natural
fields that seem to amplify consciousness or life force. Many ancient
churches and stone circles are built where ley lines or underground
streams cross.
Electromagnetic Stress
Finding EMR fields is called
dowsing.
Many of us are surrounded by Electromagnetic Radiation [EMR]
on a daily basis, although not all of us are susceptible to it unless we
either have a pre-disposition, or are continuously or intensely exposed.
Then we begin to acclimate to it. When this happens we begin to match
frequency with the field we a find ourselves in - we become reactive to
EMR. This is when we begin to experience EMR as having an impact on our
health: we begin to store the energy in our own energy fields [I
don't know how this happens - I only know that I can feel it and remove
it], and to raise our own frequencies to match it. Our bodies seem
to want an equal field - like water finding its level - the outside
field won't change in response to us, so we change to match it. Very
unhealthy!
It seems that when we store EMR - like batteries - and get
to Hertz levels that are beyond the body's ability to tolerate, we get
sick.
Tiredness and exhaustion is a common early symptom of EMR system drain.
So is insomnia.
It also seems that people who developed in utero in an EMR
field are born more susceptible to them. And to them it feels normal to
be in a high hertz field, so many of them gravitate to houses with
natural fields, exacerbating the problem.
I have found links to cancer and various organic
dysfunctions such as chronic fatigue and other auto-immune conditions.
What's your office like? Lots of computers? Are you on one
often? Do you sleep on an electric blanket? Or use a clock radio near
your head? Or sleep with meter box, or a fridge or washing machine
plugged in, on the other side of the wall? Use a mobile or cordless
phone? Fly a lot?

RISK OF 50/60
HERTZ ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELDS IN ELECTRIC UTILITY WORKERS
Jasminka
Batanjac, Elena Ana Pauncu.
Institute of Occupational Health, Timisoara, Romania
Summary.
The aim of this examination was to analyze the health risk of
electric utility workers professionally exposed to 50/60 Hz
electromagnetic fields. The examined group included 81 electric utility
workers in Renel, Timisoara (Romania).
The control
group consisted of 50 workers who have never been exposed to
electromagnetic fields. The function systems, the psychomotoric and
visual ability were analyzed in both groups before and after the work.
The results
indicate that low-frequency electric and magnetic fields could be
contributing factors to the development of cardiovascular,
neuroendocrine, psychomotoric and visual disturbances. The preventive
measures must be undertaken aiming save the health status of exposed
workers.

Electromagnetic Stress
http://www.healthy-house.co.uk/allergy/electromagnetic_stress.php
Electromagnetic stress
Over the last few centuries our exposure to electricity has increased by
a phenomenal amount. Our houses are increasingly filled with gadgetry,
time saving devices, lighting, TVs and stereos. At work a large
proportion of people spend the majority of their day on a computer and
surrounded by electrical machines. All these electrical appliances give
off electrical fields. The electricity rays out from the appliance in
what is called a "field". Electromagnetic fields are always vibrating;
they always spread out into space indefinitely and carry alternating
electric and magnetic vibrations.
A danger to health?
Even though we now know that things which are
invisible and imperceptible to us are not necessarily harmless, (e.g.
radioactivity and X-rays), electricity has become such a central part of
our lives that it is hard to question its unseen effects. Yet evidence
of its potential danger to health is continually accumulating, and can
no longer be disregarded.
"As far as the science itself goes, I think there are four major areas
about which there can be little doubt as to the significance of the
findings:
1. The effects on the immune system. A reduction in the ability of the
circulating white blood cells to kill tumour cells. This has been shown
in cell culture work and partially corroborated in animal studies.
2. Effects on foetal development. There is evidence not only from
abnormalities but also in psycho-sexual development. Epidemiological
work has shown that miscarriages may be linked to electric blanket use
and some electrical home heating.
3. The area of the control and regulation of cell growth, including
tumour formation.
4. The effects on the central nervous system and the brain in ways which
affect very powerful hormonal mechanisms, which in turn have connections
to cancer and cancer-related problems."
"Generally, electromagnetic fields (EMFs) can be
biologically active, capable of making changes in the structure of human
and animal cells which are exposed to them."
"In animal studies, frequencies between 15 and 60 Hz have been shown to
alter cellular protein synthesis, disrupt RNA synthesis and reduce
immune response."
What causes electromagnetic stress
"It must be remembered that ALL items connected to
the mains electricity supply will give off both electric and magnetic
fields when working. At low frequencies (usually the frequency of our
mains electricity supply which vibrates 50 times every second), the
electric and magnetic components of the fields are not related
mathematically to each other and so it is necessary to think about them
separately." When an electrical appliance is plugged in at a wall
socket, it will give off an electric field, even when it is switched off
at the appliance. The further you are away from an appliance, the weaker
the field will be, as electric fields decrease with distance."
This means that although most people are completely unaware of it,
during most of our day we are passing through electrical fields. For
some people this causes no physical symptoms but it is not good for
anybody to be exposing themselves to this type of stress.
Symptoms commonly experienced can include:
- Immune dysfunction: colds, flu and increasing
ill health
- Psychological problems: Inability to
concentrate, increased anxiety, depression, aggression,
irritability, anguish, apathy, insomnia and memory loss.
- Increased instance of epileptic seizures
- Dizziness, vertigo, disorientation,
breathlessness
- Loss of appetite, nausea
- High blood pressure, haemorrhage, nosebleeds
- Eye problems: damage to cornea, early need for
glasses, dry/itchy eyes.
- Skin problems: Eczema, dry, red, blotchy skin,
dermatitis.
- Joint pains: unexplained wrist, arm, shoulder
and back pain.
- Hearing a buzzing, high pitch vibration, other
hearing difficulties
- Still birth, lower birth weight, stunted
growth
- Burning sensation and sweating
- Tingling in the fingers, shaking, nervous
system agitation
As you can see from this list 'symptoms of
electromagnetic stress vary considerably'. Some people merely
experience a feeling of lethargy, lack of concentration and fatigue,
particularly when using the computer. Others have much more severe
reactions to this form of pollution and studies have even linked
Electromagnetic fields to childhood leukaemia.
Anyone can react to electromagnetic fields and it is becoming more and
more common for people to do so.
How can I protect myself?
A) Measure the fields
Firstly you need to find the source of the Electro-magnetic fields
around you. In this way you can determine which area in your home has
the highest levels and move beds and other furniture to accommodate
this. This will help you to arrange your house so that the majority of
your time is not spent within areas of high electrical and magnetic
fields. Check our products page to
measure EMF's.
B) Avoidance to reduce the effects of electromagnetic stress
1. Move furniture, particular the bed and seating arrangements, away
from areas of high electrical fields.
2. It is important to bear in mind the items that are used close to the
body. Hair dryers for instance produce high electrical fields as do
electric blankets, which of course are very close to the body all night
long. "Electric under blankets and over blankets give off high magnetic
fields that penetrate about 6 or 7 inches into the body." Click here to
visit the page of the website.
3. Avoid the use of electrically operated adjustable beds and furniture,
as these give off strong magnetic fields.
4. Electrical clocks and clock radios should be at least one metre from
your head and baby alarms should also be placed at least one metre in
distance from the infant.
5. VDUs and TVs are of course a major source of electrical fields. It is
a good idea to sit as far away as possible from the monitor and/or use a
device to neutralise the electrical fields. Check our
Techno AO products for neutralising harmful rays.

Electric fields
Plugging a wire into an outlet creates electric fields in the air
surrounding the appliance. The higher the voltage the stronger the field
produced. Since the voltage can exist even when no current is flowing,
the appliance does not have to be turned on for an electric field to
exist in the room surrounding it.
Magnetic fields
Magnetic fields are created only when the electric current flows.
Magnetic fields and electric fields then exist together in the room
environment. The greater the current the stronger the magnetic field.
High voltages are used for the transmission and distribution of
electricity whereas relatively low voltages are used in the home. The
voltages used by power transmission equipment vary little from day to
day, currents through a transmission line vary with power consumption.
Electric fields around the wire to an appliance only cease to exist
when the appliance is unplugged or switched off at the wall. They will
still exist around the cable behind the wall.
How do static fields differ from time-varying fields?
A static field does not vary over time. A direct current (DC) is an
electric current flowing in one direction only. In any battery-powered
appliance the current flows from the battery to the appliance and then
back to the battery. It will create a static magnetic field. The earth's
magnetic field is also a static field. So is the magnetic field around a
bar magnet which can be visualized by observing the pattern that is
formed when iron filings are sprinkled around it.
In contrast, time-varying electromagnetic fields are produced by
alternating currents (AC). Alternating currents reverse their direction
at regular intervals. In most European
countries electricity changes direction with a frequency of 50 cycles
per second or 50 Hertz. Equally, the associated electromagnetic field
changes its orientation 50 times every second. North American
electricity has a frequency of 60 Hertz.
What are the main sources of low, intermediate and high frequency
fields?
The time-varying electromagnetic fields produced by electrical
appliances are an example of extremely low frequency (ELF) fields.
ELF fields generally have frequencies up to 300 Hz. Other technologies
produce intermediate frequency (IF) fields with frequencies from
300 Hz to 10 MHz and radiofrequency (RF) fields with frequencies
of 10 MHz to 300 GHz. The effects of electromagnetic fields on the human
body depend not only on their field level but on their frequency and
energy. Our electricity power supply and all appliances using
electricity are the main sources of ELF fields; computer screens,
anti-theft devices and security systems are the main sources of IF
fields; and radio, television, radar and cellular telephone antennas,
and microwave ovens are the main sources of RF fields. These fields
induce currents within the human body, which if sufficient can produce a
range of effects such as heating and electrical shock, depending on
their amplitude and frequency range. (However, to produce such effects,
the fields outside the body would have to be very strong, far stronger
than present in normal environments.)
Electromagnetic fields at high frequencies
Mobile telephones, television and radio transmitters and radar
produce RF fields. These fields are used to transmit information over
long distances and form the basis of telecommunications as well as radio
and television broadcasting all over the world. Microwaves are RF fields
at high frequencies in the GHz range. In microwaves ovens, we use them
to quickly heat food.
At radio frequencies, electric and magnetic fields are closely
interrelated and we typically measure their levels as power densities in
watts per square metre (W/m2).

Up to 5mG (milligauss) is
the normal electromagnetic field that the human body can tolerate. Research in 1993 by Liburdy, found that melatonin reduces the growth rate
of human breast cancer
cells (MCF-7) in culture, but that a 12mG 60 Hz [hertz] electromagnetic
magnetic field can block the ability of melatonin to inhibit breast cancer
cell growth
